Brand & design

The brand and design service defines how your brand looks and how it speaks: logo, colour, typography, visual language and tone of voice are designed as one whole and delivered with the principles and files that keep the same character on every channel.

A brand is more than a logo. The moment people first see you, the tone of an email, the texture of a package, the rhythm of a post: all of them are expressions of the same character. We describe that character together with you, then make it visible and repeatable.

01

Who is it for?

For a new business, brand and design is the shortest route to looking consistent from day one. A brand whose name, mark and language are considered together does not need patching as it grows; every new surface joins the existing system.

For a growing business, the problem is usually fragmentation: visuals made by different hands at different times, colours that do not match, a different voice on every channel. Here we work on a renewal that consolidates while preserving what already has value; starting from scratch is rarely necessary.

For teams launching a product, a service or an event, we design sub-brands, campaign identities or product-family languages. Kinship with the main brand is preserved while the new piece gains a character of its own.

02

When is it needed?

If a few of these signs sound familiar, it may be time for brand work:

  • Your logo appears in different colours, proportions and qualities in different places, and nobody is sure which one is correct.
  • Every new presentation, ad or post starts with colour, type and layout decisions made from scratch.
  • Your business has grown but the identity stayed as it was on day one; it no longer describes what you do.
  • A website, an app or a new product is coming and there is no visual language to build it on.
  • Your team and outside producers interpret the same brand differently; every delivery needs corrections.

None of these signs is a crisis; all of them show that the brand is ready to grow and needs a system.

03

What does it cover?

The scope narrows or widens with the project; a typical brand engagement consists of these parts:

  • Brand foundation: positioning, value proposition, brand personality and tone-of-voice principles.
  • Visual identity: logo and mark system, colour palette, typography, graphic language, photography and illustration approach.
  • Applications: business cards and stationery, presentation template, email signature, social media templates, packaging or signage, whichever surfaces you need.
  • Brand guidelines: rules, examples and ready files so that your team and other producers get the same result.
  • Digital assets: the component language for websites and apps; colour, type and spacing decisions described in a form that translates into code.

The files we hand over are clear and orderly: vector sources, separate exports for web and print, named colour and type values, versions for light and dark backgrounds. Your team, or any other producer you work with, finds what they need without searching.

04

How does it proceed?

A brand engagement proceeds in four steps. What each step delivers is agreed at the start, and the move to the next step is decided together.

  1. Discovery: We talk about who you address, what you promise and how you differ from competitors. We review existing material together and decide what is worth keeping.
  2. Direction: We prepare a few distinct character proposals, each a small world made concrete in colour, type and mark. The question is plain: is your brand calm or bold, warm or precise?
  3. Design: The chosen direction deepens. The logo reaches its final form, the system is built and tested on real applications: a small app icon, a large sign, a black-and-white invoice.
  4. Handover and transition: Guidelines, files and templates are ready. If you wish, we make the first applications together and accompany your team as it gets used to the guidelines.

This order is not rigid. A trial application may show that the mark is weak at small sizes; then we return to the design step, correct the system and try again. The aim is not to complete a sequence but to deliver a brand that works on real surfaces.

05

What do we pay attention to?

Consistency is not sameness. We do not design an identical image for every channel but a flexible system that carries the same character at different scales. A story cover and an invoice should feel like the same brand without having to look alike.

Legibility and accessibility are criteria from the start: enough colour contrast, a mark that survives at small sizes, typography that gives the same confidence on screen and on paper. An identity that is beautiful but unreadable is not doing its job.

We design for longevity. An identity that carries the marks of a passing trend ages quickly; a plain, decided language can grow for years and carry new products and new channels without strain.

Frequently asked questions

We want to keep our current logo; can we still work together?

Yes. Often it is not the logo that is missing but the system around it. Keeping the existing mark while building colour, typography, layout principles and tone of voice is also brand work, and for many businesses it is the right scope.

How long does a brand project take?

It depends on the scope. After the discovery conversation we share a plan and timeline broken into steps; what each step delivers and which feedback we need from you is clear from the start. The pace of feedback shapes the timeline more than anything else.

Can our team apply the guidelines without a designer?

We write the guidelines so that people who are not designers can use them: dos and don’ts, ready templates and files that can be used directly. When a question remains, we are around.

Can we combine this with a website and social media?

Yes; a brand language is best tested on real surfaces. We feed the website, the app interface and content production from the same system, so the identity does not stay in a presentation file but becomes a language used every day.

What do we need to have ready for brand work?

A precise brief is not required. Being able to describe your business, sharing your existing material and having the decision-makers join the conversations is enough; we bring the questions and answer them together in the first meeting.

What if new needs come up later?

The system is designed to grow. When a new product, sub-brand or channel arrives, a new section is added to the guidelines; the identity is not rebuilt. The investment in the first engagement keeps its value for years.
